Sandringham is an affluent seaside suburb nestled between Hampton and Black Rock. From the Sandringham Hotel, formerly known as the Commodore, you can see the beautiful bay and foreshore while spending time with friends over a glass of wine. Walks along the beach as the sun sets often coincide with witnessing the joy of elegantly attired wedding parties as they pose for photos at the 1926 constructed Sandringham Band Rotunda. 

Sandringham shares its love of outdoor sports with neighbouring suburbs and boasts the Sandringham VFL Football team, Sandringham golf course and yacht club amongst many local features. 

The café and restaurant scene is buzzing and much of the action is clustered around Bay Road, Station Street and Melrose Street all within close walking distance of Sandringham train station. Sandringham Hospital is a major hospital servicing the region and it is located on Bluff Road. Sandringham College and Firbank are among the many great schools in the area. The Sandringham library is on Station street close to the beach and the Sandringham station.
